Queen's Biomedical Innovation Team (QBiT) - Director of Science
The Queen’s Biomedical Innovation Team (QBiT) is an interdisciplinary design team that designs, prototypes, and tests innovative biomedical devices to address healthcare concerns both globally and within our local community.

Position Description:
The Director(s) of Science will report to the Chief Operating Officer. This role involves identifying and preparing applications for science, biomedical, engineering, and research-focused competitions relevant to QBiT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and identifying science, engineering, biomedical, and research-focused competitions, such as design showcases and academic challenges
- Leading the development of applications and scientific presentations for competitions
- Collaborating with project teams to gather technical content and data
- Regularly attending operations meetings and providing updates
Ideal qualities:
- Strong interest in biomedical engineering, science communication, or research
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Organized and proactive
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Interviews will take place during June 21st, June 26th, June 27th and June 28th .
