About The Opportunity

Expected Compensation: $51,000 - $55,000 annually
Vacancy Status: Existing vacancy
Position Summary:
Provide and coordinate assistance to the Quality Manager with the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and improving quality and continuous improvement processes including being a training resource for all departments throughout the facility.Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all- inclusive list.  Other duties may be assigned.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Execute consistent implementation, auditing, and evaluation of Menasha Packaging operating processes & procedures in support of the corporate goals and ensure alignment with legal standards

·        Develop and train the individual teams of the facility, take the lead and assist the overall facility

·        Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators relevant to the Quality, NCR Trending, SIP Program and Continuous Improvement (CI) arena

·        Analyze nonconformance report data and trends – share with facility management – develop and administer corrective action plans

·        Execute root cause analysis - assist with close-loop corrective actions and follow up throughout the departments of the facility

·        Identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management

·        Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed


Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

·        Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree desired with a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in the area of quality in a manufacturing environment.

·        Auditing experience

·        Strong oral and written communication skills

·        Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service

·        Work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision

·        Action and task oriented; collaborator and team player

·        Strong organization skills, ability to identify potential problems

·        Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word


Physical Requirements & Work Environment

 

·        Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting

·        Frequent walking and standing required

·        Travel required

·        Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
