- Conduct internal audits of manufacturing processes, products, and quality systems, including SMT, through-hole assembly, final assembly, testing, and packaging
- Verify compliance with IPC standards, customer requirements, and company procedures
- Prepare audit plans, checklists, and reports; track corrective/preventive actions through to closure
- Support external audits by customers and certification bodies; maintain audit readiness
- Review production and quality records for compliance
- Analyze audit data and quality metrics to identify trends; participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and complaints
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to implement improvements
- Maintain accurate audit documentation and generate performance/compliance reports
- Update quality procedures as needed
- Provide guidance and training to departments on quality requirements; promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Electronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (equivalent education/experience considered)
- Experience in QA, QC, or auditing within an electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience with PCB assembly, SMT processes, and electronic product manufacturing preferred
- Internal audit and corrective action experience an asset
- Understanding of SMT, through-hole assembly, wave soldering/reflow, functional testing, and final assembly/inspection
- Knowledge of quality management systems and auditing principles
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and ISO 9001
