It enables companies to simplify complex pricing, automate monetization, and gain full control over how they generate and scale revenue. Working with customers such as OpenAI, Chilipiper, Glean, HootSuite, and Mews. Nue helps sales, operations, and finance teams gain revenue acceleration, operational efficiency and revenue controls at speed and scale.
What You'll Do:
We are looking for a senior, customer-facing Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with our customers on-site to design, build, and deploy solutions that power their end-to-end quote-to-cash workflows. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success, and is critical to ensuring our platform delivers real, measurable outcomes in complex, real-world environments.
Unlike traditional implementation roles, this position requires a high degree of ownership, technical depth, and business understanding. You will not only implement solutions, you will define them.
- Partner directly with customers (often on-site) to understand their business processes, pain points, and requirements across the quote-to-cash lifecycle
- Design and build custom solutions on top of the Nue platform to address complex, ambiguous use cases
- Own the end-to-end delivery of customer solutions (from discovery and design through deployment and iteration)
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations, including integrations, workflows, and automation
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to surface gaps, influence roadmap, and help shape the evolution of the platform
- Collaborate with Product Engineers to transition custom solutions into scalable, reusable product capabilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, guiding best practices and ensuring long-term success
- 5–10+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, technical consulting)
- Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes (CPQ, billing, revenue, ERP/CRM integrations)
- Proven ability to design and build solutions in ambiguous environments with minimal structure
- Hands-on technical experience (e.g., APIs, scripting, data modeling, integrations)
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to work on-site with customers as needed (with primary focus on San Francisco and New York)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences
- Not a traditional implementation role - you will define and solve problems that don’t yet have standard solutions
- High ownership - you are responsible for the customer outcome, not just delivery tasks
- Deep product influence - your work directly informs what gets built into the core platform
- On the ground with customers - you will be embedded in real customer environments, solving real problems
Base compensation is USD $150,000–$160,000 for candidates in the USA and CAD $145,000–$160,000 for candidates in Canada. Compensation ranges are set independently for each country based on local market rates.
The base pay range for this role is $150,000 – $160,000 per year.

- A high-energy, collaborative culture where smart, supportive teammates push each other to learn fast, think boldly, and do the best work of their careers.
