Marmon Industrial Water designs and manufacturers water and wastewater treatment equipment solutions, under the brand names Graver Water Systems and Ecodyne. Our technologies included raw water pretreatment, filtration, ion exchange, demineralization, degasification, hot lime softening, boiler make-up, condensate polishing, wastewater treatment, cooling, and oil/water separation for markets such as petrochemical/chemical, power generation and heavy industrial plants.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead capital equipment projects from detailed planning and engineering through to delivery, installation and commissioning.

Overall Responsibilities:

The list below highlights the essential job responsibilities but is not exhaustive.

  • Acts as Project Manager (PM) for assigned projects, and backup for other PMs as needed.
  • As the focal point of external contact with the customer and the leader of an internal project team, models and builds a culture of customer service excellence.
  • Manage the technical and commercial project scope, resolve issues and scope change requests quickly, and keep the project on schedule. 
  • Through regular monitoring and reporting of project metrics, ensure project progress is on target and schedule and financial obligation of the projects are met or exceeded.
  • Communicate and report project status regularly, proactively and effectively.
  • Adhere to established methodologies and processes for project management.
  • Incorporate previous Lessons Learned and Customer Closeout Meetings to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on findings.
  • An active contributor to process improvement and change initiatives to contribute to Marmon Industrial Water’s continued success.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:

  • University degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • PMP certification is preferred or ability to work towards certification.
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in Water and/or Wastewater industry ideal.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and processes is essential.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experienced, skilled, accountable leader with proven experience of customer facing success.
  • Positive record in developing and managing successful projects and project teams in Water and Wastewater.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are critical to success.
  • Financial acumen, technical understanding and credibility, organizational and administrative skills are all required for this position.
