This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work; arrangements will be discussed with the manager per departmental guidelines. This is a full- time, 12-month contract position.

 

Your role


We are seeking a Project Lead to help drive the operational management of our dynamic team of specialists. Reporting to the Manager, Media Activation, you will spearhead our strategies and activations across all digital platforms, including programmatic, while overseeing direct buy operations. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding the team toward achieving our performance and innovation goals.


Responsibilities

 

Planning

  • Collaborate on developing media strategies aligned with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist with the annual media investment planning and budget monitoring process.
  • Work closely with the media planning team to anticipate resource needs and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Engage actively in strategic discussions to optimize processes and cross-team collaboration.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, new advertising formats and emerging technologies to continuously optimize campaigns and workflows.

Organizing

  • Work alongside the Manager, Media Activation, to effectively allocate team resources based on project priorities and individual strengths.
  • Ensure the effective integration of media strategies to maximize overall campaign performance.
  • Develop and maintain campaign tracking and reporting tools.
  • Lead regular team meetings to co-ordinate projects, share knowledge and solve challenges together.

Leading

  • Foster the professional development of our media specialists, cultivating an environment of continuous learning and growth.
  • Guide the team in optimizing campaign strategies and performance metrics.
  • Represent the team in discussions with other business areas and external partners.
  • Co-lead strategy and results presentations, ensuring clear, high-impact communication.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.

Monitoring

  • Track campaign performance closely against established objectives.
  • Proactively identify optimization opportunities to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • Ensure operational excellence in campaign activation, optimization and reporting.
  • Establish quality control mechanisms for all team deliverables.
  • Keep your manager proactively informed of project progress, key milestones, potential roadblocks and team successes or challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, administration or a related field.
  • Minimum five years’ relevant experience in marketing and project management.
  • Significant experience in media campaign planning, buying and optimization.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and current industry trends.
  • Fluency in French; intermediate English proficiency an asset.
