Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aero. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Contract Security Program (CSP) clearances.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Lead and manage small engineering development projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation and budget management.
- Initiate, coordinate, maintain and analyze cost, schedule & scope.
- Coordinate the program team’s Risk, Change, and Resource Management processes.
- Support the program manager with funding exercises, budget forecasting, etc.
- Support WBS level budgeting by coordinating the estimation and forecasting processes for program re-plans, risk mitigation activities, and change requests, as well as other management-driven requests.
- Manage metrics for EV/SPI/CPI.
- Interface with program team and stakeholders to develop and status project milestones.
- Performing monthly variance analysis to cost and schedule baseline.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for internal Honeywell Monthly Project Reviews, as well as internal Honeywell customer reviews using standard templates.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in engineering and / or project engineering.
WE VALUE
- Working experience on SATCOM products.
- Working knowledge of overall engineering disciplines - hardware, software, systems development, certification for the SATCOM product line highly desired.
- Experience in Project Management (managing cost, schedule, resource, scope and risk management) highly desired.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Excellent customer & supplier management skills.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodology and experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Individuals who are self-motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates who demonstrate initiative by anticipating needs and proactively completing tasks will thrive in this role.
The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000K- $120,000K in Kanata, ON. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
