As the Project Coordinator, you will support the Project Manager in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects. You will be accountable for assisting with project objectives, managing resources, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle. 

A Day in the Life 

  • Project Coordination: Assist in planning and managing project activities. Support the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables. Maintain project documentation in line with the project delivery framework. Aid in developing project plans and schedules. Collaborate with project managers in various delivery frameworks such as waterfall and agile.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Help define project governance and communication plans. Support the onboarding of project resources and manage resource allocation. Assist the project team under the project manager's direction.
  • Financial & Reporting: Contribute to the development and management of project budgets. Assist in monitoring project progress and reporting to stakeholders. Support the presentation of project health status, risks, issues, and decision logs.
  • Risk & Compliance: Support adherence to project change control processes and mitigation measures. Assist in ensuring compliance with project management policies and weekly reporting.
  • Team Development: Participate in the Project Management Centre of Excellence (PMCoE) by sharing best practices, tools, and providing mentorship.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field of study.
  • 1-2 years of relevant project coordinator experience.
  • Knowledge in the discipline of project management including related best practices, development lifecycles and supporting tools.
  • Experience managing projects leveraging frameworks from Waterfall to Agile is an asset.
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Profession (PMP) would be an asset.
