Role Summary:

The Project Coordinator, Finance Transformation is responsible for supporting the delivery of a multi-year Finance Transformation initiative that involves transitioning to a cloud-based ERP system.

The Project Coordinator will be instrumental supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) workstream by coordinating efforts across various teams/workstreams and ensuring that all project milestones are achieved within the stipulated timelines.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing project management support for the Finance ERP implementation

  • Supporting development and updates to project templates and documentation including status reports, project plans, governance materials, etc.

  • Maintaining and updating the comprehensive project plan

  • Updating and managing the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies)

  • Developing communications for project leadership and other stakeholders of the transformation

  • Understanding business requirements and supporting design of future state

  • Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges

  • Scheduling, coordinating, and participating in meetings and events, collecting and distributing relevant materials, taking detailed meeting minutes and highlighting and following up on action items

  • Other contributions, as the team may need and as opportunities arise

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience and qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in project delivery or project management, preferably in a Finance, Technology, or Real Estate environment

  • Experience delivering projects or supporting projects/programs in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, DevOps, Jira, etc.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software

  • Experience within Agile and Waterfall project environments, with an understanding of the SDLC

  • A self-starter, proactive and motivated to create positive change

  • Curiosity, humility and an eagerness to learn;

  • A people-first focus with a team-oriented mentality;

  • A sense of urgency, optimism, and a desire to deliver excellence; and

  • Strong orientation towards strategy, change and results.

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an advantage

This posting is for an existing vacancy.
The expected salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.

You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
