We're looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Brampton, ON supporting construction-related projects throughout Eastern Canada.

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Execution Manager and broader project team in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction-related projects throughout Eastern Canada.

This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring project details are tracked effectively from project award through completion. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining project schedules, monitoring deliverables, supporting customer communication, and ensuring project documentation remains accurate and up to date.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy working collaboratively with internal teams, customers, contractors, and external stakeholders. This role also offers a clear development pathway toward a future Project Execution Manager position within Victaulic.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN 

  • Support the Project Execution Manager with day-to-day coordination of active projects.
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action item trackers.
  • Coordinate project documentation, meeting minutes, project correspondence, and filing systems.
  • Track project progress and assist with the preparation of project status reports and dashboards.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal project meetings, customer meetings, and project reviews.
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support project execution activities.
  • Assist in monitoring project budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commitments and deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Support project planning & setup, execution, and close-out activities.
  • Help identify project risks, schedule impacts, and potential issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Assist with customer communications related to project updates, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Participate in site visits and customer meetings as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and the development of project management best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations to support internal and customer communication.
  • Conduct MAR (Material-Availability-Report) analysis to support project reporting.
  • Commit to continuous learning through training, mentoring, and skill development initiatives.
  • Support teammates while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist in responding to RFP’s and contribute to proposal development as needed.
  • Support contract, change, and interface management activities throughout project execution.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of project files, drawings, and records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

WHAT SETS YOU APART 

  • Experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Autodesk, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • CAPM certification or project management coursework is considered an asset.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exposure to Lean, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with contracting models such as EPC, Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build and Time & Material.
  • Awareness of safety procedures and regulatory compliance requirements in construction or industrial environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15-20% throughout Canada for project meetings, customer visits, and site support as required.

COMPENSATION 

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience.
