The program Manager, Print Solutions, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and implementation of strategic initiatives within the Print & Marketing division. Reporting directly to the Sr. Program Manager, Print Solutions, this role will bridge the strategic direction developed within the division and the executional duties carried out by Category Specialists by collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization and vendor partner network. The Manager will ensure that all print categories are developed, marketed, and sold effectively across all channels. The incumbent will lead a team of Category Specialists, fostering a high-performing, innovative environment that drives sales growth and margin expansion. Each day will be dynamic, fast-paced, and impactful.

 

Specifically, You Will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Category Specialists, creating a high-performing and innovative environment.

  • Oversee the completion of regular sales business reviews, ensuring that Category Specialists execute plans effectively and meet targets.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors and guide the team in creating business value and responding to market threats.

  • Manage retail and digital print outsource vendor relationships, including quality control, SLA deliverables, invoice reconciliation, and promotional planning and forecasting.

  • Manage the execution of the omni-channel promotional calendar, ensuring it supports the print category and channel growth plan.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Retail, Digital and Sales to develop and execute program strategies that drive traffic, conversion, basket and customer experience.

  • Own the execution of sales and margin plans for omni-channel operations, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.

  • Support the strategic plans and program development of Core Print, Signage, Business Marketing Collateral, and Custom Photo Products categories.

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Program Manager to implement print category growth plans, including line extensions and the development of new print products and services.

 

Some of what you need:

  • Financial acumen to deliver on business goals.

  • Post secondary degree/diploma with a focus in business, retail management or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of Corporate retail operations, ecommerce and marketing are assets.

  • Knowledge of marketing and digital media channels to drive sales.

  • Track record of implementation and execution of category growth plans.

  • 2-5 years of progressive retail category management & operations experience.
