General Description:

The Program Coordinator will be assisting the Project Manager with building and updating the NewStar ERP Upgrade Database for current and new construction projects. The main focus of this role is to work on upgrade pricing within the system as well as administrative tasks. As the role evolves, other duties will be assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a catalogue database of homebuilder upgrade products, mainly utilizing templated Excel spreadsheets with manual data entry as required
  • Set up and maintain hard copy lot files and photocopy documents as requested
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data input adhering to established processes
  • Assist in product catalogue management within NewStar, including the coordinating of product details, accuracy, part numbers, images, etc.
  • Verifying entries for accuracy and completeness of image and data transfer
  • Ensuring appropriate turnaround time on all data entry
  • Performing audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures
  • Become an advocate for the new system by becoming a subject matter expert, offering help and support to end-users when needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or a recent graduate of an accredited construction or data entry diploma program
  • Experience working with NewStar ERP System
  • Highly skilled computer proficiency with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
  • Data entry experience with high degree of accuracy
  • Familiar with construction industry terminology is an asset
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks timely and efficiency
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while remaining well organized
