As a Program Controls Specialist I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in supporting the program controls function for projects and programs. You will be responsible for assisting with project planning and scheduling, monitoring project costs and budgets, identifying and mitigating project risks and issues, and analyzing project performance metrics. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will contribute to the successful execution of projects and programs. 
You will report directly to our Sr. Program Controls Manager and you'll work out of our Mississauga, ON or Cambridge, ON location. 
In this role, you will impact the organization's financial health, operational efficiency, risk management, and overall success in delivering projects and programs. 


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and publish metrics and reports
  • Analyze program performance
  • Identify root cause, implement corrective action
  • Improve processes
  • Analyze cost and schedule integration
  • Track budget and program financial data
  • Maintain schedule and track milestones

Qualifications

The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and/or CSP security clearance.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • Post Secondary education.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science or Engineering, Finance or Accounting or related field.
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
  • Ability to work in a large, co-located, and diverse team in a matrix work environment.
  • The user experience of the SAP system.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office package skills e.g. Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management.
  • Experience in the usage of Earned Value Metrics, Estimate at completion growth, and Milestone Fidelity.

The annual base salary for this position starts at $65,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
