Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Glad manufacturing facility in Orangeville, ON. This role has overall responsibility for 4 Team Leaders and 40 employees across continental shifts, being fully accountable for their performance in safety, quality, employee development, and daily operations in alignment with site goals and objectives.
You will report directly to the Operations & CI Manager and play a critical role in fostering a culture of self-directed leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
📅Schedule: Day shift (8a.m.-4 p.m.), Monday–Friday (with on-call weekends and nights)

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a role model for safety and environmental standards, ensuring compliance and genuine care for team members.

  • Own the site quality strategy, maintaining process capability and product specifications that meet customer needs.

  • Drive loss elimination and waste reduction through root cause analysis and tools such as Kaizen, 5Y, and 5S.

  • Build and sustain empowered line teams with effective processes and coaching.

  • Focus on team needs including training, staffing, and communication.

  • Lead with a style that fosters a positive work environment, employee development, and compliance with company policies.

  • Ensure daily tasks are completed to standard (AM/PM activities, Centerlines, CILs, training documentation, production reports).

  • Collaborate across departments, promoting teamwork and shared learnings for plant success.

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced production environment leading people.

  • Proven ability to lead performance through people, processes, and systems.

  • Experience in packaging processes or engineering (AM Step 3 qualification an asset).

  • Strategic thinker with strong cross-functional communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to recognize and develop talent, holding teams accountable to high standards.

  • Flexible, resilient, and skilled in change management.

  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to recruit, train, and develop employees while maintaining professional knowledge.

  • Strong team player with the ability to act independently when required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, related field or equivalent experience

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience, and location. Below is the targeted range for this role.

  • Non-Sales: $83,278 - $128,248

  • Sales: $83,329 - $128,327
