About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Engineering Analyst to drive the development of our lean vehicle reconditioning production. In this key role, you will lead Lean transformation initiatives, streamline production processes, establish staffing benchmarks, and enhance operational efficiency to support our rapid growth. The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys collaborating directly with shop floor teams to tackle production challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and analyze production performance by building and maintaining metrics that relate to throughput, quality, cost, and safety, and use them to drive decisions
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Software/Systems, Finance, Safety) to identify improvement opportunities and see them through to real, measurable results
  • Take ownership of production projects from idea to execution including scoping, planning, coordinating vendors/contractors, and tracking progress against budget and timeline
  • Design and improve production processes and layouts to support the company's growth, using CAD and data to back up recommendations
  • Work with operations teams and front-line operators to develop standardized work, run time-and-motion studies, and set staffing models as volume scales
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools (Kaizen, Gemba walks, 5S, value stream mapping, visual management) as practical tools for hitting production targets, not as a standalone program
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks across production and implement measures/systems to eliminate them
  • Act as a key contributor to the company's bigger production ambitions, helping shape what's next as we grow

What We're Looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of production/manufacturing engineering experience in an operational environment, ideally in a fast-growing or fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated track record of leading projects using Lean principles in a manufacturing or repair setting
  • Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for facility and process layouts
  • Comfortable building and interpreting production metrics and statistical tools (Pareto, SPC) to guide decisions
  • Solid project management fundamentals including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor/contractor coordination
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for leading cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Genuinely excited by ambitious goals and rapid growth. You’re someone who wants to help build what's next, not just maintain what exists

Why You'll Love it at Clutch

  • Make an Impact: Help shape the future of car buying and selling in Canada by leading a critical part of our customer experience.
  • Career Growth: Join a rapidly growing company with opportunities for leadership and professional development.
  • Great Team: Work alongside talented, driven, and collaborative colleagues who are passionate about what they do.
  • Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a strong compensation package, including salary and benefits.

Employment Type:

  • New, Permanent Full-Time

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000

Clutch is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all individuals have an opportunity to succeed. If you require accommodation at any stage of the interview process, please email [email protected].
