Evertz.io is redefining how media organizations manage and distribute content in the cloud. Our platform delivers scalable, flexible, and cost-efficient solutions for both file-based and live workflows across the Media and Entertainment industry — helping broadcasters and content owners move their operations to the cloud with confidence. We're building the next generation of content management and distribution systems, combining deep video expertise with modern cloud-native infrastructure, and everything we build is shaped by the real-world needs of the customers who rely on it.

As a Product Specialist, you'll be the technical bridge between our customers, product design, engineering, and operations - working hands-on with configuration, deployment, and cloud infrastructure to make sure evertz.io delivers for the media organizations that depend on it.

At its heart, this role is about helping customers get the most out of evertz.io. You'll partner with media organizations to understand their needs, design and stand up solutions that fit, and make sure those solutions actually deliver in production. The work is hands-on with cloud and broadcast technology, but it's driven by customer success - turning what a customer needs into something that works for them. It's a great fit for someone who likes working directly with customers and solving the business and technical challenges that come with it.

 Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deploy, and validate evertz.io environments and AWS infrastructure for customer deployments and evaluations.
  • Lead and support customer proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and technical evaluations - turning what customers need into working configurations.
  • Work directly with customers to understand their operational workflows and translate them into clear technical requirements and configurations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and SRE teams to define and refine platform capabilities, bringing customer feedback and field experience back into the product.
  • Develop and maintain configuration templates, scripts, and documentation that make deployments repeatable and customer-ready.
  • Act as a voice of the customer in collaborative meetings with Engineering, aligning priorities, architecture, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on usability, deployment flows, and performance, grounded in how customers actually use the platform.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of platform scalability and automation.

 Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, VPCs, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Must have experience with broadcast technology — including video, audio, OTT platforms, and live production workflows.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining modern cloud applications or services.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, APIs, and microservice architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or JavaScript).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, plus the communication skills to work directly with customers and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile development environment.
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites and tradeshows
