The Product Owner is responsible for supporting execution of the New Product Setup (NPS) roadmap by managing backlog readiness, coordinating sprint activities, and ensuring business needs are translated into delivery outcomes. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, developers, testers, and process teams to support efficient sprint execution, capture feedback, and prepare releases for deployment. The role will initially focus on NPS and may expand to support additional processes over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the product backlog for NPS-related delivery
  • Support sprint execution by refining work items and coordinating with development teams
  • Write user stories and obtain confirmation from process owner before work is finalized for development
  • Coordinate testing activities, including UAT planning, issue tracking, and feedback consolidation
  • Capture business feedback and translate it into actionable backlog updates
  • Support release readiness and production deployment activities
  • Partner with requirements and process resources to validate story readiness before development begins
  • Help ensure work entering development is sufficiently defined, prioritized, and aligned to business need
  • Use Jira to manage work intake, prioritization, and sprint tracking
  • Use SQL as needed to support analysis, validation, or investigation of business and system data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, process, and technical teams to support delivery objectives

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience serving as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar delivery role in an Agile environment
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting agile delivery, sprint execution, testing, and release coordination
  • Strong Jira experience
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience supporting enterprise workflow, product setup, or business process transformation initiatives preferred
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in product, process, or systems environments
  • Familiarity with Appian or similar workflow / low-code platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting backlog management in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or related enterprise environments preferred
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent certification preferred
