Overview:

The Product Manager on Guidepoint’s Product team will support the External team’s execution of the product roadmap.  This individual needs to be highly motivated, a self starter that can work independently and in teams.  This role will engage with senior product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders.  You will gain hands-on product lifecycle experience and have direct impact on project execution.

This position is a hybrid position out of our Toronto office. 

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the documentation and development of product features by collaborating cross-functionally to define the feature’s details
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to manage the product backlog including writing and prioritizing stories
  • Drive projects forward by managing feature roll outs, ensuring stakeholder communication and developing updated materials
  • Manage internal reporting to ensure product managers have the most accurate data in a timely manner
  • Analyze user data via our analytics tools and develop initial inferences
  • Identify and managing dependencies and identifying mitigation opportunities

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Worked in Agile development environment as a product manager for 2 years
  • Understands the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with quarterly planning
  • Extremely high empathy towards user problems
  • Creative thinker
  • Has a background in one of the following fields: consulting, banking, or technology
