Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Payment Platforms team to lead the development and evolution of Moneris' Payment Gateway and API platform. You will work across the business to ensure our gateway and APIs are secure, resilient, scalable, and deliver exceptional integration experiences for merchants, partners, and ISVs across Canada.
You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, technology delivery, compliance, and go‑to‑market execution, helping guide innovation, usability, and performance across the platform portfolio. We are looking for someone with experience in payment gateways or API‑driven platforms, fluency in payments ecosystems, and the collaboration skills required to influence outcomes across Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
If you have experience building and scaling platform products and enjoy solving complex integration problems, we'd love to connect.
Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager II, Product.
Posting Type: Replacement
Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Contribute to Platform & Product Strategy: Ensure alignment of product portfolios against overarching product and corporate strategies. Define and lead a 3-to-18-month roadmap for Payment Gateway and API platform strategy including positioning, commercialization planning, sales enablement, and post-launch performance tracking.
Drive End‑to‑End Product Ownership: Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for gateway and API capabilities—from ideation and validation through delivery, launch, iteration, and retirement of outdated features. Ensure the product backlog is aligned to merchant, partner, and developer needs, maximizing the value delivered by each release
Enable Developer & Partner Integrations: Partner with Developer Portal and Technology teams to improve API discovery, documentation quality, and onboarding workflows. Reduce integration friction by improving Time‑to‑First‑Call and Time‑to‑First‑Transaction for merchants, ISVs, and partners.
Collaborate Across the Business: Build trust‑based relationships with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure product readiness and customer‑centric design. Work with Compliance to assess, prioritize, and plan delivery for card brand releases, bulletins, and regulatory requirements improving gateway and API functionality. Support go‑to‑market readiness by ensuring our teams with clear product positioning and integration guidance.
Champion Agile Execution & Outcome‑Driven Delivery: Lead a cross‑functional Agile team, managing the product backlog and guiding prioritization and sprint planning. Role‑model servant leadership by removing impediments and ensuring transparency of priorities, dependencies, and outcomes. Define and track success metrics across adoption, usage, reliability, and integration effectiveness, using data to inspect and adapt the roadmap.
Set and Measure OKRs: Establish clear objectives and key results to measure product success based on data and feedback
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends and regulatory environment to ensure Moneris remains a leader in secure payment authorization.
