Product Manager (Lab Automation Software)

Site based role in Burlington, Ontario Canada

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's collaborative team as a Product Manager for our Laboratory Automation software product suite. In this role, you would be instrumental in navigating the lifecycle of product development, from inception to refinement, ensuring we build products that resonate with our customers.

Responsibilities:

We'll look to your expertise to guide our Laboratory Automation software suite. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading all aspects of related products to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Prioritizing customer focused feature development to improve value

New Product Development offers an opportunity for innovation. Here, you can:

  • Translate identified customer needs into tangible products
  • Interact with different customers throughout the process to improve the product

In the Commercialization journey, we value your contribution in

  • Delivering accurate, clear communication to teams and customers
  • Tracking and managing product shipments

As we move into Lifecycle Management, your critical thinking will:

  • Guide products through different stages ensuring market relevance
  • Help maintain competitive pricing strategies

Taking lead in Pricing, your insights would aid us in:

  • Managing gross margins optimally based on customer and market feedback
  • Adjusting pricing strategy to stay ahead in the market

Collateral Development could apply your creativity to:

  • Develop engaging product presentations and materials
  • Serve as a creative stimulus for marketing initiatives

Finally, Strategic Partnerships opens up avenues for collaborations where you can

  • Foster relationships with leading companies and universities
  • Expand our product portfolio through partnerships

Qualifications:

We're seeking individuals holding a Bachelor's degree in Software, Biological Sciences, or a related field preferred (MBA is a welcome addition, but not required) highschool diploma required. Bringing demonstrated ability in product management and marketing. Added knowledge of Laboratory Automation and Robotics markets is a plus.
