Synopsis of the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in managing multiple products and scores within our Consumer Product Portfolio. The successful candidate will support the development of product strategy and lead the execution of go-to-market initiatives, ensuring offerings meet market needs and contribute to our strategic objectives.
We are looking for someone with product management expertise in mortgages, auto, or insurance. Prior experience within the credit ecosystem is highly desirable.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the development and execution of  the product roadmap for a portfolio of consumer products and scores, aligning with overall business objectives and market opportunities.

  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings.

  • Translate market and customer needs into detailed product requirements and user stories, collaborating closely with engineering, data science, and design teams.

  • Support the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.

  • Assist in developing product pricing strategies, business cases, and go-to-market plans, in collaboration with sales, marketing, and legal teams.

  • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, and provide insights to stakeholders.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the consumer product portfolio, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, engineering, data science, and legal, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to maintain product competitiveness and identify new growth areas.

What Experience You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing and launching successful products in the financial services or consumer credit industry.

  • Strong understanding of consumer credit products, scores, and the Canadian market.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

  • Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies.
