BIMM is booming, so we’re looking for a Product Manager – AI Enablement to join our team.

As we observe a hybrid model, this role will require you to be in office at BIMM HQ (Distillery District) 2 days per week, which could also expand to include visits to client sites.

Who we are

BIMM is a Toronto-based agency that lives at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity to provide clients with high-performing campaigns and digital products that shape connected customer experiences. We’ve helped our clients implement fully integrated CRM customer journeys, built robust digital experiences, and created national loyalty programs with decades of experience in sectors of automotive, financial, telco and retail.

We are creative realists, which means our ideas and solutions are grounded in the realities of our clients’ business. We believe big ideas are nothing without big results (and flawless execution); high-performing agencies deliver high-performing campaigns, products, and experiences; and the best solutions happen when we collaborate with clients as partners.

This is an existing vacancy, not a made-up role — this one’s already got a desk waiting.

Who we’re looking for

You are passionate about building products, workflows, and systems that make teams smarter, faster, and more effective. You’re deeply curious about how AI and emerging technologies are changing the way digital products are designed, built, tested, and delivered — and you want to help shape that future.

This is not a traditional Product Manager role focused solely on shipping customer-facing features. This role sits at the intersection of product management, developer enablement, operational transformation, and change management.

You thrive in ambiguity and are energized by building new ways of working from the ground up. You’re comfortable navigating evolving priorities, experimenting quickly, learning from failure, and helping teams adopt new tools, processes, and behaviors. You understand that introducing AI-enabled workflows is as much about people and organizational adoption as it is about technology.

You are comfortable working closely with developers, architects, QA, delivery leads, and client stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, uncover opportunities, and operationalize scalable AI-driven solutions that improve how digital products are delivered.

You challenge teams to think beyond current processes and push the boundaries of what modern product development can look like. You leverage AI and modern tooling to synthesize information faster, improve decision-making, accelerate delivery, and increase overall team effectiveness — while still applying strong product judgment and critical thinking.

Most importantly, you know how to bring people along through change. You communicate clearly, create alignment across teams, and help others feel confident adopting new workflows and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with development teams, architects, and delivery leadership to identify opportunities where AI agents, automation, and internal tooling can improve software delivery workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Help define and evolve internal AI-enabled products, developer tooling, and agent-based workflows that support engineering teams and client delivery teams.
  • Drive backlog prioritization and roadmap planning for internal AI tooling initiatives, balancing experimentation, technical feasibility, business impact, and organizational readiness.
  • Work closely with developers and technical leads to translate ambiguous ideas into clearly defined user stories, workflows, requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and expected outcomes.
  • Support organizational change management efforts by helping teams adopt new tools, workflows, and ways of working related to AI-enabled delivery practices.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and operational working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to align on opportunities, gaps, process improvements, and implementation strategies.
  • Help establish scalable operational processes, documentation standards, governance approaches, and feedback loops for AI-enabled development workflows.
  • Bring a systems-thinking mindset to product and operational challenges, understanding not only the user experience but also the underlying workflows, data flows, dependencies, and organizational impacts.
  • Maintain strong communication across teams, proactively surfacing blockers, risks, adoption challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Operate comfortably in highly iterative and experimental environments where priorities and approaches may evolve rapidly.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, automation platforms, orchestration tools) to improve product workflows, accelerate documentation, support discovery, synthesize research, analyze delivery patterns, and improve overall team productivity.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools, workflows, and industry trends, identifying practical opportunities to improve delivery quality, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
  • Balance experimentation and speed with pragmatism, governance, quality, and long-term maintainability.
  • Help define success metrics and operational KPIs related to AI adoption, workflow efficiency, delivery acceleration, and developer enablement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Product Operations, Delivery, or related digital product roles.
  • Experience working closely with software development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, and evolving environments.
  • Strong organizational change management and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Experience leading discovery, workshops, backlog management, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration efforts.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and workflows into clear business and operational requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting internal platforms, operational tooling, developer workflows, automation initiatives, or process transformation efforts is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, software architecture concepts, system integrations, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and operational workflows.
  • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, automation/orchestration tools) within product, delivery, research, analysis, documentation, or operational workflows.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in exploring emerging technologies, particularly AI-enabled workflows and automation.
  • Comfortable balancing experimentation and innovation with operational rigor and execution discipline.
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Nice to have

  • Experience working on AI-enabled products, internal developer platforms, automation tooling, or agent-based workflows.
  • Experience supporting organizational transformation or operational change initiatives.
  • Experience working in digital agencies, consulting environments, or complex client-services organizations.
  • Exposure to prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, agent workflows, MCPs, or developer productivity tooling.
  • Experience defining operational KPIs, adoption metrics, or workflow efficiency measurements.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI, or related Agile certifications.
