As a product leader, your role is to design, implement and manage a line of high-performing products that meet the needs of members and clients. You are responsible for developing, pricing, improving, implementing and promoting the products offered, based on the needs of members, clients and the distribution networks, and in line with market trends and Desjardins Group’s target position. You advise and assist partners as part of the development of the product line. You put forward recommendations, solutions and action plans to improve the product offer, based on the organization’s directions and objectives. This requires analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of the line of business. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields to identify needs and present your proposals for the product line. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Identify ways to improve the product offer based on member and client needs, business priorities and market developments.

  • Help monitor the competition and market developments to identify opportunities to develop the offer.

  • Help establish and roll out the client experience for the value-added services the products offer.

  • Monitor the products' commercial results and financial performance.

  • Identify the operational, reputational and financial risks associated with the implementation of the product offer.

  • Make sure that planned improvements to the product line comply with laws and regulations.

  • Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and work with partners and external organizations in the context of existing agreements.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required
