Position Overview:
HONK is seeking a Product Lead who will be a driving force in accelerating business growth. This role goes beyond managing a product; it offers the opportunity to shape product management at HONK and contribute directly to our mission of revolutionizing parking.
As our Product Lead, you will dive deep into data to make critical decisions about feature specifications and prioritization. Your work will ensure our product development aligns seamlessly with user needs and business objectives. Beyond data, you’ll act as a bridge across departments, working closely with sales, marketing, and operations to translate their needs into actionable product requirements. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to define the product roadmap and set the strategic direction for HONK’s product offerings.
- Leverage data to guide decisions on feature specifications and prioritization, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Serve as the liaison among sales, marketing, and operations teams, gathering requirements and communicating updates on new features.
- Exhibit exceptional communication and leadership skills to facilitate smooth information flow across all departments.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and cross-functional teams to foster growth and excellence.
- Champion user-centric design principles and ensure that all features enhance the user experience.
- Bring innovative ideas and perspectives, drawing from your startup experience, to enhance our product and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Lead or similar role, ideally in a software or payments-related industry.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a talent for working cross-functionally.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, with a track record of driving innovation and delivering results.
- Passion for technology and an eagerness to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Excellent understanding of software development and web technologies
- Experience in payments and/or parking technology will be considered a strong asset.
- MS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant area.
