Product Lead

Lead the product that home care organizations and partners use to keep older adults safe, at a fast-growing senior care technology company in 24 countries.

The company

We went from a lab in Waterloo to 24 countries in five years. Our sensors detect falls and track sleep, health and wellness, with no cameras, wearables or pendants. Families get peace of mind. Older adults keep their independence. Our CTO, Dr. Yihong Qi, holds 680 patents, and the next few hundred get built here.

Why now

We are nationally launched with major home care organizations across North America, and the product is becoming more complex as more of them rely on it every day. It needs someone to lead it. This is the time.

The role

You own the product for our care organizations and partners: the software they use to monitor residents and clients, the integrations their systems depend on, and the roadmap that decides what we build next. Our hardware is the moat and the vessel. Your product is the experience. You sit between customers, engineering and the sensor, and you turn what partners need into what ships. You work directly with the COO and our CTO, and alongside our Product Lead on the consumer side, so the two products learn from each other.

What you'll own

• A product partners choose because it works, with adoption and retention that show it
• The roadmap: what we build, in what order, and why, backed by what customers say and what the data says
• Every release from idea to shipped, working with engineering so the software and the sensor move together
• Integrations and partner needs that turn one deployment into a hundred
• The voice of the partner inside the company, so sales, support and engineering are working on the same thing

What year one looks like

Partners use the product daily and say so. The roadmap is clear and shipped on time. Our largest deployments are live and their users are happy. Engineering knows what to build next, because you told them.

The details

• Pay: $140,000 to $190,000 CAD base salary
• This is a new role, created to grow the team, not a backfill
• How we hire: typically an initial interview, a short case, and a final interview in person with our CEO and members of the team. We may adjust this depending on the role
• We leverage AI tools in our hiring process, but prioritize human input and manual review
