Square is built by an incredible team that is on a mission to make commerce easy for all types of businesses. Pricing & Subscriptions is Square's centralized team responsible for managing and optimizing Square's Pricing & Packaging (P&P) strategy and defining the respective end-to-end seller experience in order to drive accelerated growth, profitability, and seller retention. We are responsible for implementing and maintaining a unified pricing image across the company, and ensuring that Square can effectively monetize its portfolio of products (e.g., Point Of Sale, SaaS, add-ons) to ensure a seamless subscription experience for sellers. We provide pricing and subscription expertise, define and implement pricing tools and processes, monitor and report on pricing data and results.
The Pricing Discovery & Growth PM is responsible for the end-to-end seller experience from discovery until a seller signs upfor a Square P&P subscription. This role will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and bar-raising seller experience for pricing, packaging and subscriptions across the seller acquisition journey by building, designing, influencing and driving alignment with partner teams (e.g., SuperPOS, Dashboard, Audiences, Public Web). This includes onboarding flows, free trials, SaaS conversion flows, upsells, and other SaaS acquisition experiences.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Square to deliver P&P experimentation, drive progression to GA, and measure impact on KPIs that drive significant contributions to the company. After GA, you will own defining the overall acquisition strategy through experimentation and platform improvements. On any given day, your role entails reviewing product requirement documents and design flows from partner teams and bar raising the end-to-end experience, driving key decision making in the end-to-end user experience, defining the experimentation process and guardrails, and creating a long-term company wide promotions strategy and alignment partners on your proposal. Your job may include researching seller feedback, building a new strategy, presenting to executive leadership, building new experiences, iterating on experiments, and planning or prioritizing initiatives. This is a highly visible role across dozens of teams and with numerous opportunities to regularly present to senior executives.

What We Do
Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together.
So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality through Afterpay, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we’ve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.
Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.
Why Work With Us
We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed, and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.
