Product Information Analyst

Join Zoro’s rapidly growing Enrichment team that is responsible for gathering and enriching vital product information to help our customers quickly & confidently validate the product they need from our assortment of 14+ million products and growing.  

What You Will Do

  • Manage and analyze product information to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness across all platforms and systems
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, maintain data integrity and optimize operational processes
  • Perform quantitative analysis using SQL or Python – find the relevant data, transform it into a useful format, and structure the results in easily accessible ways
  • Analyze product data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in product content and processes
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track product data quality, completeness, and performance across platforms
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all product information through regular quality checks and validation processes
  • Coordinate product data needs and changes with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient operations
  • Assist in the resolution of product data issues and reporting discrepancies, working closely with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Preferred Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Analytics, Finance or Business
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, product information management, or a similar role.
  • SQL proficiency required; Python experience preferred 
  • Ability to generate clear, actionable, valuable outcomes from an ambiguous starting point
  • Strong business acumen; ability to understand how various parts of the business interact, and can identify and approach problems from a customer perspective
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience formally presenting results, recommendations, and perspective to peers and leaders
  • Can structure presentations into a coherent narrative that creates understanding among stakeholders and leaders
  • Familiarity with JIRA, and agile methodologies such as scrum and kanban

Compensation:

Below is the anticipated base pay compensation range for this position. This position is eligible for participation in our short-term incentive program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

The range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills. 

The anticipated compensation range described below is subject to change and the compensation ultimately paid may be higher or lower than the range described above.
