Job Description

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing, negotiation and purchasing of goods and services required by the organization. This role manages supplier relationships, drives cost optimization initiatives, ensures contract compliance, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to support organizational goals. You will play a key role in procurement strategy development, risk management, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Driving strategic sourcing and supplier management by leading RFP/RFI/RFQ processes, evaluating suppliers, and optimizing procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Building and managing strong supplier relationships by monitoring performance, ensuring quality and cost efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Leading purchasing and contract management by negotiating terms, pricing, service levels, and agreements to secure favorable contracts.
  • Managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle while ensuring contract compliance, policy adherence, and effective vendor tracking and renewals.
  • Assessing and mitigating supply chain risks, including supplier capacity, contractual issues, and market volatility.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Legal, etc.) to understand and support business needs
  • Optimizing procurement workflows and leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, data accuracy, and cost optimization.
  • Leading, mentoring and developing the procurement team, setting performance objectives and supporting professional growth.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
  • You have strong negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management skills.
  • You have experience with procurement systems and managing budgets with proven cost-saving results.
  • You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You have certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, PMP, or SCMP, and knowledge of global sourcing, sustainable procurement, and risk mitigation (an asset).

This role offers a competitive compensation package with an annual salary range of CAD $110,000–130,000.
