Job Description

Overview

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Administrator is responsible for complex administrative support duties in all procurement systems. They provide support to Buyers, Order Administrators, Expeditors, Procurement Engineering and Management. They handle and safeguard sensitive financial information on behalf of the Procurement department. Duties below are assigned depending on the business needs in support of Project and Services.

Your role
  • Clerical duties related to Procurement activities including Requisitions, PO's, CO's, distribution, filing.
  • Support to Procurement Management and Quality Management on reporting and general duties.
  • Processing Non-Disclosure Agreements.
  • Custodian of Proposal submission inbox.
  • Material control administrator supporting Procurement Engineering.
  • Supplier Documentation registration in Document Management System.
  • Support to Logistics.
  • Invoicing and Accounts Payable activities interfacing with Finance and Shared Services (AP).
  • Create and issue small dollar, best commercial goods purchase orders, including Punch out and Pcard.
About you
  • Post-Secondary or equivalent work experience or transferrable skills.
  • Administrative Experience in a busy office environment.
  • Experience with administration duties in a Procurement environment an asset.
  • Proficient in database entry, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, project environment, supporting multiple customers, including repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain the influx of procurement requests, while maintaining project timelines and deadlines.
  • Must be a professional team player, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment with collegues.
  • Exceptional time management required.
  • Ability to be challenged to learn new tasks in short timeframes.
  • Ability to take directions from Management and critical stakeholders.
