We are currently seeking a Private Client Administration Associate to join our Private Client Administration team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support with the utmost sense of urgency and exceptional accuracy on all Financial and Non-Financial requests received from high net worth clientele. Areas of responsibility may include Debits/Credits, New Accounts, Estates, Transfers among other desks. Our team takes great pride in providing high quality service for our clients under the Assante Private Client and Stonegate platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure that all requests are acted on in a timely, efficient and accurate manner
  • Able to handle a fast paced and demanding area. Requests are regularly in excess of $1M and expectations are of same day service
  • Ensure all internal and custodian compliance procedures are adhered to.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with custodians as well as internal departments
  • Resolve inquiries from internal departments in an efficient and professional manner 
  • Recognize potential issues and report to management immediately for further escalation
  • Assist in special projects and other Private Client desks if required.
  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime during specific times of the year (i.e. RSP season, quarter end) 
  • Clearly communicate not-in-good-order items to the PC Service team 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Education

  • Post-secondary Education 
  • Enrollment or completion of CSC and/or IFIC Operations course would be an asset 

Experience

  • Mutual Funds experience is an asset 
  • 2+ years of prior experience is an asset 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Related industry courses would be a definite asset 
  • Ability to think outside the box and big picture
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word 
  • Must have a service-oriented mindset
  • High accuracy and attention to detail 

This role follows our in‑office work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $42,500 to $71,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
