We are looking for a Growth leader who will lead our entire client onboarding flow. As the leader for Client Growth, you will guide the product-led growth strategy and execution across both our enterprise and non-enterprise customer segments. We are looking for a leader who can not only create impact through high-velocity experiments of existing levers within the product but also discover and develop new levers to unlock the tremendous opportunity in this new era of work. 

Your Responsibilities
  • Gain an understanding of customer needs and pain points. Given the scope and accountability of this role, you will have the opportunity and responsibility to guard and improve the end-to-end customer experience for our clients.

  • Set an overarching growth strategy for Upwork's clients, both enterprise and non-enterprise. Your role will span the product-led growth lifecycle, from acquisition, to onboarding, to activation, and monetization, offering you the potential to impact Upwork on a large scale.

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers. You will manage and mentor the existing Client Growth, Enterprise Growth, and Platform Growth product teams.

  • Enable execution. You will work with cross-functional partners and the team to create collaboration models, processes, and operations to drive high-velocity execution and deliver high-quality insights, working with a distributed engineering team across North America and Europe.

  • Build and leverage partnerships. You will not only work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and other product areas, but will also work with marketing leadership across the Acquisition, Life Cycle Marketing, and Product Marketing teams.

  • You'll form close cross-functional relationships and ensuring powerful collaboration across the Consumer Growth team to achieve amazing results together.

  • You are collaborative and enjoy working in partnership with many areas to identify goals and work together to achieve them.

This position will initially be employed through a partner to ensure a seamless hiring process while we establish the hub. Once the hub is established, there may be opportunities to transition to employment with Upwork depending on business needs and other requirements.
