What you'll be doingAs a Power Platform Developer within our Enterprise Data Management team, you'll play a key role in building scalable and robust tools that empower teams across CIBC. You’ll leverage Microsoft Power Platform to design and develop applications that support business needs throughout the organization. Your responsibilities include creating model-driven and canvas apps, integrating with Dataverse and Azure, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that are secure, efficient, and user-friendly. You’ll also explore innovative technologies like Generative AI to push the boundaries of what our tools can achieve. Your work will help drive CIBC’s data-driven culture and ensure our digital solutions are reliable and future-ready.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you'll succeed- Application Development – Build and enhance model-driven and canvas apps using Power Platform to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Technical Integration – Connect applications with Dataverse, Azure, and other systems to ensure seamless data sharing and automation.
- Collaboration and Communication – Work closely with business partners and technical teams to gather requirements and provide expert guidance.
- Innovation and Technology Adoption – Incorporate emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to improve functionality and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance and Support – Test, troubleshoot, and maintain applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
- You have deep technical expertise. You bring 5+ years of experience working with Power Platform, Dataverse, Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, C#, .NET, React, and Azure. You’re a solution-oriented developer. You excel at designing, building, and deploying scalable and robust applications that meet diverse business needs.
- You’re innovative and adaptable. You embrace new technologies, including Generative AI, and continuously seek ways to improve processes and tools
- You are a problem solver. You enjoy working with cross-functional teams and translating requirements into effective solutions.
- You have a degree in. Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
