Job Purpose:
The Haleon Marketing team is looking for a Portfolio Simplification Marketing Manager to accelerate topline and margin growth of our Wellness portfolio. This new role reports to a Marketing Portfolio Lead and will be responsible for the strategic oversight and delivery of identified portfolio margin enhancement projects on select brands, including product reformulations, restages, and price/pack architecture optimizations. The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships across the region and functions, partner and collaborate with brand managers and other stakeholders, advocate and influence for Canada, and effectively drive projects at pace.

Key Responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR Marketing Career. As the Portfolio Simplification Marketing Manager, you will:
- Be accountable to deliver identified portfolio simplification projects, including product reformulations and price/pack architecture optimizations
- Successfully partner and collaborate with diverse teams across the brands, portfolio, and the region, building and navigating relationships throughout Haleon
- Advocate and influence to ensure the Canada consumer and brands are maintained at the forefront of all initiatives and decisions
- Develop projects into solid business cases supported by P&Ls, in collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners including Insights, Regulatory, Supply, Sales Strategy, Finance, Artwork, etc., and progress projects through internal stage-gate process, achieving alignment and resource approval
- Develop clear project plan and influence and hold accountable cross-functional partners to ensure project objectives are met
- Track project status, identify risks or challenges, develop mitigation plans and escalate for support and resources as needed. Report project status at regular intervals to high-level senior leadership
- Lead consumer research inputs, mine the findings for insights and strategically and creatively incorporate the insights into the project scope
- Develop go-to-market assumptions and consumer/shopper marketing support plan
- Support customer communications and alignment
- Lead all other marketing inputs, as needed, into project plan
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills and experiences to achieve our goals:
- Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field
- Experience: 3-5+ years of brand marketing experience in Consumer Products or Over-the-Counter (OTC) marketing
- Experience in successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering results in a matrix organization
- Track record of leading successful, large scale product launches
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and navigate within a complex organization, across teams, functions, and levels
- Strong problem solver with ability to think both analytically and creatively to effectively drive business objectives
- Strong financial capabilities and business acumen
- Courage, resiliency, perseverance, and tenacity to champion initiatives from start-to-finish
- Ability to lead, influence, and inspire cross-functional teams and senior leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a flair for storytelling
