The Platform Owner, OneStream & Integrations is responsible for the roadmap, development, security, build, operations, support, and overall technical performance of the OneStream and OnTrack platforms plus any other related integrations.  Other technology platforms may be added over time. The Platform Owner ensures all relevant TID (Technology Innovation & Data) KPIs are measured and achieved (e.g. Uptime, Vendor Performance Scorecard).

The Platform Owner, OneStream & Integrations has all credentials and expert experience building, configuring, supporting and maintaining the OneStream platform in support of the requirements, roadmap and  service desk requirements established in partnership with the Finance Product Owner(s) and TID leadership. With strong partnerships, this position co-creates business and technical OneStream and planning solution roadmaps, finance solution strategies, operational and support plans, while delivering OneStream and complementary financial solution initiatives.

The Platform Owner, OneStream & Integrations will integrate and coordinate with the Data Hub for the coordinated and integrated development, support and operation of related/integrated Data & Analytics Products as well as the integration of OneStream with Four Seasons MDM (Informatica). This position will centralize key horizontal TID functions to create cohesion and alignment across finance FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) technologies. The leader will ensure consistency in application of technical best practice solution design, technology selection, and use of Service Desk service catalog capabilities.

This leader is responsible for the intersection of business and technology strategies across the Four Seasons technology enterprise architecture and data architecture championing and leading best practices and principles. This leader also partners with broader Four Seasons stakeholders, vendor partners, and industry leaders, to guide the overall strategic direction for finance enterprise architecture, technical strategy, technology advisory, infrastructure, and works collaboratively with TID security operations.

This role is based in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Toronto Corporate Office, reporting to the Senior Director, IT Finance. This role involves interactions with primarily internal stakeholders at various levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

Product Roadmap:

  • Constantly monitor new FP&A and OneStream technological trends and best practices, and integrate them into the design and development of the OneStream solution.

  • Identify and define OneStream and FP&A solution product roadmaps to ensure scalability, simplification, automation, sustainability, and standardization of the OneStream and FP&A global solution.

  • Lead OneStream technology projects.

Solution analysis, design, development, testing, & implementation:

  • Maintain OneStream EPM solutions, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements.

  • Manage a team of developers and functional teams, including goal setting, code reviews, and providing mentoring and guidance.

  • Manage integrations and ensure scalability, security, performance, and system reliability.

  • Lead technical discussions and develop plans to improve the innovation of the Four Seasons OneStream solution, integration engine, and development processes.

  • Maintain and evolve a practical approach to OneStream architecture design.

Finance Planning technology leadership:

  • Provide technology direction and product roadmap prioritization recommendations to the OneStream product owner that aligns with the stakeholder's vision.

  • Drive technical accountability with OneStream and FP&A solution vendors for project or product deliverables.

  • Understand the FP&A hospitality market and leading practices within the marketplace for OneStream.

  • Understand FP&A product and technology costs to feed into the OneStream product owner business case.

  • Develop operational knowledge and understanding of the Four Seasons planning business process.

  • Collaborate with Four Seasons stakeholders, vendors, and TID teams to implement technology solutions.

  • Work with finance to develop training plans and contribute to the development of training materials that will be used in the training of end users on enhancements.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology vendors to understand their capabilities and strategic roadmaps.

  • Manage project / product scope by thoroughly understanding the business culture, technology environment, and user community.

  • Identify technology solution opportunities to leverage applications across the organization to eliminate duplicate systems within the solution ecosystem.

  • Engage in technology analysis and decision-making processes for new initiatives.

  • Communicate with TID leadership and stakeholders on current and future initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Has a strong understanding of FP&A process maintenance and financial consolidation across multiple applications.

  • Proficiency in OneStream software and a solid understanding of EPM tools and business intelligence infrastructures.

  • Soft skills: demonstrated leadership ability, results-oriented approach, excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational skills with attention to detail and responsiveness, and proficiency in project management.

Business and Technical Knowledge:

  • Lead role will have expertise in the development of large-scale strategic financial digital and data TID initiatives to ensure alignment with TID policies.

  • Proven and demonstrated experience in providing advice and technology leadership in the backlog planning process including technology selection, options analysis, delivery and related best practices.

Team Leadership:

  • Experience with coach TID team members and ensuring alignment with overall TID strategic direction.

  • Strategic technology planning skills to anticipate and absorb complex, large-scale issues, and to recognize the interdependencies of OneStream intricacies with D365 and other financial solutions.

  • Provide project leadership and management on projects and sprints from concept to implementation including leading working groups, providing project status updates for tracking and reporting for senior management.

  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, make decisions and understand the technology interdependencies.

Issues Management and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Prioritization experience to identify and manage complex technology issues concurrently.

  • Possess subject matter expertise and political acuity in determining when/if issues warrant raising concerns.

  • Evaluate OneStream direction and Generative AI trends and standards to identify and develop TID options and recommendations.

What You Bring

  • 5 - 7+ years working with finance / IT enabling solutions in the Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) area.

  • At least 5+ years working on OneStream implementation projects.

  • Past platform and application experience with FP&A solutions.

  • Experience with managing teams or implementation delivery resources.

  • Ownership and delivery of OneStream application Managed Services or Platform support services in the areas of OneStream development, integrations, performance tuning, and security.

  • Advanced technical proficiency in OneStream, VBA, SQL, C# and .net coding experience.

  • Demonstrated finance acumen, ideally with a finance degree or financial professional designation.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations and Supply Chain, an asset.

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
