Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR), a Spectrum Health Care company, is seeking Registered Physiotherapists in Uxbridge to provide ministry‑funded physiotherapy services to adult clients in the community.

This independent contractor role offers a highly flexible work schedule, with part‑time or full‑time opportunities based on your preferred caseload. Compensation is per visit, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality, client‑centered care. Estimated annual earning potential is between $82,000 - $102,000, however actual earnings may vary based on service volumes.

Job Description

  • Provide ministry‑funded, community‑based physiotherapy services within clients’ homes and/or through virtual service delivery
  • Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments using interviews, standardized tools, and informal assessment techniques in areas including:
    • Geriatrics
    • Neurology
    • Orthopedics
    • Palliative care
  • Develop and implement goal‑oriented, evidence‑based treatment plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers
  • Assign, supervise, and monitor physiotherapy assistants, when appropriate
  • Provide education to clients and caregivers and connect them to appropriate community resources
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation, including:
    • Assessment findings
    • Care plans
    • Progress and discharge summaries
    • Documentation aligned with referral source requirements and College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) standards

Qualifications

  • Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (required)
  • Valid G2 or G driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle for community travel
  • Community‑based physiotherapy experience is an asset, however new graduates are welcome
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within an inter‑professional team
  • Strong organizational skills, including self‑scheduling, prioritization, and meeting reporting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and report‑writing communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office Suite and proprietary clinical software
