Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Physiotherapist to join our team at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, supporting the acute medicine program. Cross-training to alternate care areas including Milton District Hospital and Georgetown Hospital may be required based on operational needs. In this role, you will work as part of an interprofessional team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse inpatient population.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc.PT or MSc PT registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario 

  • Support student learners 

  • Minimum of two years experience working in an acute hospital setting 

  • Rostered for Oxygen titration and Tracheal suctioning preferred

  • Demonstrated experience working with acute, surgical and rehab patients 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with an interprofessional team 

  • Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members 

  • GPA and AFIM training an asset 

  • Physically able to manage a moderately heavy job 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Satisfactory attendance and employment record 

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday, days, 7,5 hour shifts  (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary:  $40.911 to $57.695 per hour
