Support WSIB outpatient specialty program delivering interdisciplinary assessment, diagnostics, rehabilitation, return-to-work planning, functional evaluation and work conditioning. Participate in community education, program development, accreditation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Provide patient-centered inpatient physiotherapy for acute medicine patients across Halton Healthcare hospitals. Work within an interprofessional team, support student learners, assess and treat acute, surgical and rehab patients, document care, and perform duties such as oxygen titration and tracheal suctioning if rostered. Flexible, physically able, and effective communicator.

Provides hospital pharmacy services including medication order and profile review, order entry, dispensing, clinical problem investigation, medication reconciliation, and drug distribution support. Covers patient care units and other hospital sites during rotating shifts, serves as a resource to pharmacy technicians and students, and supports patient safety, accuracy, and effective communication with healthcare staff.

Assists physiotherapists with treatment interventions, patient positioning, equipment fitting, exercise instruction, safety education, and group programming. Provides patient care and departmental support, maintains supplies, updates documentation, and supports community education and program development. Requires strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with flexibility to work independently or collaboratively in an outpatient healthcare environment.

Provides secretarial, administrative, and process support for Anatomical Pathology. Manages office workload, assists pathologists, coordinates oncology test requests, orders supplies, enters work orders, and handles slide and block consultations. Maintains send-out logs, follows up on cases, trains new staff, prepares statistical reports, and performs confidential administrative duties. Requires medical secretarial or transcription education, computer and medical terminology experience, and familiarity with pathology terminology.

Provides outpatient physiotherapy assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric conditions through the WSIB Specialty Program. Supports injured workers’ rehabilitation and return to work through functional evaluations, work conditioning, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, program development, and daily operations. Delivers compassionate, client-centered care while maintaining confidentiality, documentation, accreditation standards, and effective communication.

Provide dispensary and clinical pharmacy services in the main hospital pharmacy: review and enter medication orders into Meditech Expanse, check and troubleshoot drug-distribution issues, support pharmacy technicians and students, perform decentralized medication review and reconciliation on units, and provide coverage across sites during nights, evenings, and weekends.

Provide orthopaedic patient care under physician direction: apply, adjust and remove casts, splints and traction; remove dressings, sutures, staples and pins; fabricate and fit splints and ambulatory aids; educate patients and families; maintain orthopaedic supplies and equipment; collaborate with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists; document care in electronic medical record.

Work under physician direction to provide orthopaedic care: apply, adjust and remove casts, splints and traction; remove dressings, sutures, staples and pins; measure and fit orthopaedic devices and ambulatory aids; fabricate splints and bandages; educate patients/families; maintain orthopaedic supplies and collaborate with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Provide orthopaedic care in a fracture clinic under physician direction: apply, adjust and remove casts, splints, traction, and ambulatory aids; remove dressings, sutures, staples and pins; fabricate splints; fit devices; educate patients and maintain orthopaedic supplies and equipment while collaborating with the care team.

Assist physiotherapists with treatments, patient setup and positioning, equipment fitting and instruction, lead group programs, maintain supplies and documentation, support program development and community education, and ensure compliance with accreditation and immunization requirements.
