About The Role

 

HUB International’s vision is to be the leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry.  HUB continues to grow and is seeking a dynamic Personal Insurance Account Associate with a focus on New Business processing to join our Personal Lines team based in Oakville, Ontario for a 6 month contract. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people and is committed to delivering results on required deadlines.  This role requires a flexible individual who can adapt to the business's growth.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assist account managers in processing quotations on Applied Rating Services

  • Ordering MVRs and Autoplus Reports

  • Support team members in processing applications, endorsements and policy cancellations

  • Updating client files in the Broker Management System

  • Preparation of insurance binders

  • Renewal and Policy document review for accuracy and competitiveness

  • Process incoming mail, underwriting requests and memos

  • Facilitate the collection of aged receivables

 

What You’ll Need for Success

  • 1+ year of customer service experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Strong organizational, multitasking skills in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver positive customer experiences

  • Team player able to work within production and service teams.
