The Opportunity- Performance Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Performance Marketing, you will oversee day-to-day operations for paid search, paid social, programmatic display/video, and other paid channels. 

You have a proven track record of managing large-scale campaigns across platforms such as Google, Bing, Meta, and other properties, and will be responsible for expanding our market presence, optimizing campaign performance, and spearheading innovative testing and experimentation initiatives.

Note: This role is remote, meaning this role can be worked remotely from the location above. The team may meet and work from the Downtown Toronto office twice a month if needed. 

What You'll Do as a Performance Marketing Manager

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, development, and execution of paid search, paid social, and programmatic display/video campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our presence in new and existing markets.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze campaign performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI across all paid channels.
  • Testing and Experimentation: Lead the roadmap for testing and experimentation, leveraging new platform features and emerging technologies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and analytics, to ensure alignment and drive cohesive marketing initiatives.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Other duties may be assigned as required.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with hands-on experience in managing campaigns across Google, Bing, Meta, and other platforms, including paid search, paid social, and programmatic display/video advertising.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex data sets, make data-driven decisions, and leverage new platform features and technologies for marketing success, with experience using Analytics and BI tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker), marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot, Marketo), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to develop, execute and manage marketing strategies that drive business growth, combined with strong project management skills for handling multiple initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentoring and developing team members, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex information clearly for varying levels of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.

You'll Stand Out If You Bring Experience In

  • Previous Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Google Ads and Facebook Blueprint certifications 
  • Experience with OOH advertising and SEO
