Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a People Relations Specialist in Logistics you will promote a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace across Distribution Centres by managing employee relations, supporting engagement, and ensuring compliance with policies and company values

People Management & Team Development​

  • Support the full employee lifecycle by contributing to and coordinating key people processes, ensuring a consistent and positive experience aligned with company goals.​
  • Partner with DC Management team to provide guidance on people matters and organizational development.​
  • Drive employee engagement and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity through everyday HR processes and initiatives.​
  • Support managers build a safe, inclusive, and motivating work environment where team members feel seen, heard, and valued.​
  • Partner with managers to address workplace concerns early and encourage constructive dialogue and timely resolution.​

Specialized Operations & Administration​

  • Support local change management activities and support the rollout of global and regional HR initiatives.​
  • Manage conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary procedures to ensure fair and timely execution.​
  • Support or lead union negotiations to foster positive labour relations.​
  • Participate in mediations and legal proceedings as required to support resolution.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management​

  • Collaborate with Local, Regional, and Global HR teams to ensure an aligned and effective HR approach.​

Performance Analysis & Decision Support​

  • Maintain and report on HR metrics such as recruitment, turnover, and training completion to support data-driven decisions.​

Compliance, Risk & Governance​

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, internal policies, and union agreements through accurate documentation and up-to-date knowledge.​
  • Coach and advice to leaders on policies, labour laws, and employee concerns.​
  • Ensure effective execution of employee relations processes to promote compliance and efficiency.​
  • Maintain employee relations documentation in line with GDPR requirements.​

Health, Safety & Sustainability​

  • Promote a healthy workplace culture in accordance with legal and ethical standards.​

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of local labour law and regulations with a solid understanding on how these are to be implemented and used in the local workplace.​
  • Profound knowledge in local logistics employee relations.​
  • Expertise in conflict resolution, disciplinary concepts processes and procedures and workplace investigations.​
  • Understanding of employee contracts, salary bandings, compensation and benefits for employees.​
  • Strong in communicating and adapting method based on circumstance using empathy and sensitivity when needed.​
  • Solid knowledge in all processes across the employee lifecycle​
  • Solid functional understanding of DC operations and role requirements across functions considering  interdependencies.​
  • Strong in coordination, prioritisation and organisational skills.​
  • Solid knowledge of all SuccessFactors functions.​
  • Strong understanding and driver of the People Strategy.

Compensation: Salary range is $78,400 - $88,200 annually

H&M, in good faith, has assessed this posted range of compensation as the accurate range for this role and location at the time of this posting. H&M may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidate qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
