The Adventure Ahead

As our Payroll Manager, you are the engine room of our financial integrity, ensuring hundreds of Docebians across North America and EMEA are rewarded accurately and on time. You won’t just be "running payroll"; you’ll be a strategic architect, optimizing our Dayforce ecosystem and scaling our global operations to match our rapid growth. Your mission is to transform complex compliance and data into a seamless, world-class experience that empowers our people to focus on changing the future of learning.

The Day-to-Day
  • Command the Lifecycle: Lead high-velocity payroll operations across the US and Canada while providing expert validation and support for our EMEA team cycles.

  • Optimize the Engine: Act as the primary visionary for Dayforce, driving the implementation and continuous improvement of payroll solutions across multiple global regions.

  • Engineer Accuracy: Oversee complex deductions, coordinate with ESPP and retirement providers, and manage the precision of involuntary termination data in partnership with Legal.

  • Bridge the Gap: Partner closely with Finance for monthly closings and audits, delivering the granular reporting and insights needed to keep our business agile.

  • Champion the Experience: Serve as the ultimate escalation point for payroll inquiries, solving complex puzzles for our employees with a focus on empathy and speed.

  • Standardize Excellence: Develop and maintain robust payroll documentation and policies, ensuring we stay ahead of evolving regulations and annual tax requirements.

  • Innovate Processes: Identify bottlenecks and implement high-impact programs that improve employee engagement and awareness of local labor regulations.

Your Superpowers
  • The Payroll Pro: You bring 6+ years of payroll mastery, including at least 2 years of experience leading a team to success in a fast-paced environment.

  • Dayforce Wizardry: You possess advanced proficiency in Dayforce (or similar top-tier HRIS) and can manipulate data in Excel or Google Sheets like a pro.

  • Compliance Guru: You have an encyclopedic understanding of North American employment laws and a proven track record of navigating complex tax landscapes.

  • Strategic Problem-Solver: You don’t just find bugs; you fix the system, demonstrating a relentless drive for process optimization and operational efficiency.

  • Global Communicator: You excel at translating complex payroll concepts into clear, supportive guidance for a diverse, international workforce.

  • Detail Guardian: You manage sensitive data with the utmost discretion and maintain a high-accuracy standard even when the pace accelerates.

  • SaaS Savvy: Previous experience navigating the unique dynamics of the Software/SaaS industry.

  • Equity Expertise: A background managing RSU, Equity, and complex commission/bonus structures.

  • Global Perspective: Experience working within multinational companies and managing KPIs/SLAs in a transactional environment.
