Job Description:

We’re looking for a Payroll Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for Home Office, Store and Distribution Services Associates across the business. In this role, you'll manage a variety of payroll activities, including adjustments, manual payments, and responses to payroll inquiries. You’ll ensure compliance with company policies and legislation, collaborate with Associates and People Leaders to resolve complex payroll issues, and contribute to a high-performing team that supports Associates across TJX Canada

What You’ll Do:

  • This position calculates, adjusts, audits, and processes daily data required for payroll, including ad hoc or manual payments, in a timely and accurate manner for Home Office, Store and Distribution Services Associates.
  • Conducts full cycle administration of hourly and salary national payrolls including hires, terminations, and rate changes.
  • Responds to inquiries from Associates and People Leaders to resolve discrepancies for issues related to pay.
  • Ensures compliance with provincial and federal legislation, internal policies and Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements.

About You:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting payroll administration.
  • A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) professional designation; in progress designations may be taken into consideration.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion; able to deal with confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating good judgement and discretion, as well as cooperatively within a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly.
  • Demonstrated administrative excellence; able to multi-task, highly organized, accurate and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite including the ability to manage large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience utilizing UKG Pro Payroll and Workday is an asset.

Additional Information: Candidates aged 18 and over will be required to undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.

Salary Range: $ 52,230.00-$73,122.00 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
