The team:
The Partnerships team works with businesses from industry-leading companies to freelancers to bring new users to Jobber or build product experiences for our mutual users. We are responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with our largest partners as well as managing smaller program partners.
The role:
Reporting to the Director, Channel Partnerships, we are looking for a Partner Manager who will be responsible for everything that happens post contract execution to ensure our partners have the best Jobber experience possible. This role will be hyper-focused on the engagement and continued growth of our highest value partners. Other key responsibilities will include long-term planning, managing any license re-up purchases/renewals, running quarterly business reviews (QBR’s), be our strongest Jobber Payments advocate, as well as the main point of contact to ensure we’re constantly driving growth, retention, and a best-in-class partner experience.
You will collaborate with sales & success, marketing, product and engineering teams to ensure our partners are getting the best possible experience and opportunity to grow with Jobber. You will be the go-to person for a large list of extremely valuable and important partners to Jobber.
This position will require travel to conferences and partner sites. This role also requires a highly goal-oriented individual with experience managing and growing partnerships.
The Partner Manager will:
Own and drive alignment with the Director, Partnerships on customer goals, training focus, and success metrics, ensuring clarity on outcomes and proactively identifying gaps or risks
Identify and lead partner expansion opportunities through insight-driven joint business plans, including new markets/geographies, upsell and cross-sell strategies
Design and lead execution of tailored onboarding strategies in partnership with CSMs, aligning to partner org structures and long-term success outcomes
Own partner health and performance by monitoring key product metrics, proactively identifying risks, and driving action plans to improve retention and engagement
Lead cross-functional reviews with Sales and other teams to identify expansion, referral opportunities, and systemic customer pain points, and drive aligned action plans
Own and deepen strategic partner relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for complex or high-value partnerships
Lead and evolve quarterly business reviews (QBRs), delivering insights, aligning on strategic priorities, and driving measurable outcomes and optimization plans
Advocate for partners by synthesizing and translating feedback into actionable insights that influence internal priorities and partner strategy
Own enablement of partners on new product features, ensuring adoption aligns with partner goals and drives measurable value
Drive adoption and optimization of Jobber Payments across partners by identifying opportunities, removing blockers, and influencing partner behavior
Develop deep product expertise and apply it to advise partners and internal stakeholders on best-fit solutions and tradeoffs
Analyze market, industry, and competitive trends to inform partnership strategy and identify new opportunities for growth
Influence partner GTM prioritization by building strong, trust-based relationships and aligning on shared strategic outcomes
Lead cross-functional collaboration to drive execution of partnership initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and partner success
To be successful, you should have:
Proven years experience in a partnership/business development/account management role
To be dynamic. Both partner and Success-minded, having the ability to develop strong relationships with external partners – after the close of the new deal, you are the Jobber go-to person for everything!
To be strategic. You understand what’s at stake, both in the long & short-terms and build a strategy and tactical plan to help you get to where we need to be.
To be results oriented. You are most comfortable in work environments which are outcome-oriented and merit-based.
To find solutions. If something isn’t going right, you’ll take care of it. Not every conversation will be the same, and you're quick at thinking on your feet.
To have a strong and confident communication style. You have the ability to actively listen and consult with our partners, and get a true understanding of who they are and what they need (especially when they don’t know what they want!).
To thrive in a fast-paced environment. You know how to multitask with the best of them and can balance multiple projects at once.

Compensation :
At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum Total Target Commission (TTC) of $109,976, a midpoint of $129,328, and a maximum salary of $148,798, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling. This TTC consists of your base salary, as well as an incentive at 20% of your base salary for achieving individual/team goals which is paid out quarterly.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
