This position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga office where you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Role Summary: The Partner Growth Representative is focused on accelerating customer acquisition, activation, and growth across Ingram Micro’s SMB segment through proactive outbound engagement and consultative selling. Leveraging AI-powered intelligence, customer insights, historical purchasing behaviour, and market signals, you will identify and prioritize opportunities, anticipate customer needs, build trust and rapport, and bring the combined Ingram Micro and Xvantage™ (Platform) value proposition to life. As part of your development, you will participate in IMSALES, Ingram Micro’s industry-leading consultative sales training program, building the skills to turn intelligence into action, develop customer relationships, and drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Sells and promotes the company’s products and services primarily through phone calls channels, engaging new customers or channel partners within an assigned territory, industry, or account portfolio.
  • May generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads.
  • Focus on lead qualification and lead prospecting.
  • Promote Ingram Micro’s portfolio of services including financial services, Cloud, Advanced Solutions, CES (Client Endpoint Services), ITAD (IT Asset Disposition), etc.
  • Leverage AI-powered intelligence, customer insights, and historical purchasing behaviour to identify and prioritize new customer opportunities, anticipate future demand, and drive proactive, data-informed engagement.
  • May work in partnership with the field sales team, typically supporting the initiatives of the SMB field sales organization and carrying an individual or team quota.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, systems, and services, as well as industry trends and competitive dynamics, and provides accurate activity and forecast reporting as needed. 
  • Introduce partners to new product lines and categories, leveraging Sales Agent Briefings (SAB) and market insights to identify opportunities and drive engagement.
  • Onboards new partner accounts and drives adoption of the Xvantage™ (Platform) by showcasing its value in supporting business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct proactive partner outreach through calls and customized communications to promote marketing events, campaigns, and special offers.
  • May direct customers to the Xvantage™ (Platform) or other company resources for information. 

What you bring to the role:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Targeting recent graduates or 0-2 years of experience in sales-related roles who are eager to build their career in Technology sales.
  • Demonstrates foundational sales knowledge and a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, organized, and results oriented.
  • Works collaboratively as a team player and demonstrates resourcefulness in overcoming challenges.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and French is considered a strong asset.

This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $48,000-$50,000 plus you are eligible for commission representing 30% of total target compensation. Individual base pay and commission depends on various factors, including work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This is a new role and will not use AI for screening applicants.
