This is a true hunter role focused on acquiring net-new Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners. You'll leverage your industry knowledge, network, and sales expertise to build relationships with MSPs, help them grow their cybersecurity practice, and expand Field Effect's reach into the small and mid-sized business market.

As a Partner Account Executive, you will:

  • Drive the acquisition of net-new MSP partners across North America.
  • Establish strong relationships with prospects & partners, building a robust pipeline.
  • Deliver engaging demonstrations and partner presentations that clearly communicate the value of Field Effect's solutions.
  • Build and execute account strategies to close new business by understanding each partners business model, target customer base, tech security stack and typical sales cycle.
  • Leverage your industry network, prospecting expertise, and market knowledge to create opportunities beyond inbound lead sources.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Partner Success teams to increase visibility and engagement within the MSP ecosystem.
  • Manage all areas of the sales cycle including initial presentations, demos and structured follow up cadences that deliver value right through to contract negotiations.
  • Understand each partner's business model, customer base, security offerings, and growth objectives to develop a compelling business case for partnering with Field Effect.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and strategic planning discussions with partners.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene.
  • Serve as an advocate for the MSP community, providing market insights and partner feedback to internal stakeholders.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales, with significant experience selling through MSPs.
  • Demonstrated success in net-new business development and partner acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of the MSP channel, including the challenges, business models, and growth drivers that shape partner success.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity, managed services, SaaS, or other highly technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline through a combination of prospecting, networking, referrals, and partner-driven opportunities.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the resilience, ownership mentality, and persistence required to succeed in a hunter-focused role.
  • Occasional travel is required.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset.

What You’ll Get by Joining Our Team:

  • Join a growing cybersecurity company where your work will have a direct impact on partner growth and company success.
  • Influence how Field Effect expands its presence within the MSP community.
  • Own your work without red tape.
  • Collaborate with talented, humble teammates and learn from industry leading cybersecurity experts.
  • Operate with autonomy and accountability in a high trust, delivery focused environment.
  • Work flexibly in ways that fit your life and help you perform at your best, with benefits and rewards that matter.
