Oracle Fusion Techno Functional Specialist is a hands on, high ownership role within Aviva Canada’s Finance Systems team. You will be embedded in the Canadian organization and operate as part of Aviva’s wider Group Finance Application Services (GFAS) community, working closely with UK based specialist teams.
You will own Oracle Fusion service outcomes for Canada during Canadian business hours, balancing day to day operational stability with active participation in change. This is not a traditional support role. It suits someone who is curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership beyond a narrow job description.
This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibility.
What you'll do
Provide proactive and reactive techno functional support for Oracle Fusion applications, focused on Canadian operational and regulatory needs.
Act as the primary Oracle Fusion contact for Canadian stakeholders.
Triage, investigate, and resolve incidents, including integration errors and data synchronization issues across Canada and UK flows.
Coordinate and support delivery of change initiatives, including enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements.
Implement configuration changes across Fusion modules, including General Ledger and subledgers.
Monitor system health, integrations including OIC and third-party connectors, and scheduled processes.
Manage user access, security roles, and workflows in line with audit and control requirements.
Work closely with Finance, IT, and platform teams in Canada and the UK including DCR, OIC, and SFG.
Represent Canadian requirements in cross region projects, patching, upgrades, and regression testing.
Manage and report on cross border intercompany charges.
Uphold and improve service levels, ensuring SLA commitments are met and processes evolve over time.
What you'll bring
Hands on experience in a techno functional Oracle Fusion Finance role.
Strong working knowledge of General Ledger, Accounting Hub, and Fusion subledgers.
Deep understanding of Fusion data flows, including subledger imports, data file processing, and month end posting.
Experience supporting and delivering change in complex finance systems environments
Understanding of file ingestion, error handling, and reprocessing logic.
Strong service management discipline across incident, problem, and change.

What you’ll get
The salary band for this position ranges from $115,000 to $145,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
