Job Title:  Operations Specialist – Account Transfers

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Summary:

The Account Transfers Operations Specialist will support the processing of account transfers through multiple methods including ACATS, Non-ACATS, and direct transfers. They aid in the remediation of transfer failures or errors. They help to ensure compliance and correct supervisory oversight of the transfer process, and help with detecting and preventing fraud. They will engage in daily processes and project-oriented work to make Apex Fintech Solutions a best in class solution for account transfers.

What you’ll do all day:

  • Customer Service:
    • Work with and offer assistance to internal and external customers with daily incoming and outgoing ACAT and Non ACAT requests.
    • Be responsible for ensuring that customer inquiries are completed in accordance with service level agreement guidelines.
  • Supervisory oversight:
    • On a daily basis review and complete supervisory oversight and provides updates to seniors and management.
    • Ensures ACAT requests are processed while adheres to processing deadlines.
    • Ensure that inquiries are responded to in a professional and timely manner and escalating issues to seniors and management.
    • Familiar with ACAT regulations and industry standards that govern both ACAT and non-ACAT transfers. Able to identify documentation/processing irregularities and outline corrective measures.

The skills you’ll need to succeed:   

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years transferable experience, preferred
  • Industry experience, preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of Microsoft office tools including Excel.
  • Experience working with internal and external clients.
  • Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • FINRA SIE and Series 99 License is required (may be obtained on the job within 90 days of hire date). FINRA Series 7 is preferred.
