Own and maintain the OFCI equipment register with full lifecycle visibility: specs, submittal status, FAT/SAT dates, delivery, installation, and commissioning readiness.
Coordinate OFCI activities with design, procurement, fab shop, field teams, and commissioning leads to eliminate scope gaps and misaligned expectations.
Review OFCI submittals and vendor documentation from a commissioning and integration perspective (testability, telemetry, alarms, controls interfaces, sequences of operation).
Define and align FAT (L1) and SAT/L2 requirements with commissioning plans; ensure critical behaviors and control points are tested at factory and re‑verified on site.
Embed OFCI milestones and readiness gates in the commissioning plan and schedule, including prerequisites for L3, L4, and L5 participation as appropriate.
Coordinate vendor presence and responsibilities for start‑ups, L3/L4 tests, and IST, ensuring contractual and practical support for first‑of‑kind scenarios.
Track and drive resolution of OFCI‑related issues and defects (mis‑shipments, spec deviations, control incompatibilities, performance shortfalls) in collaboration with vendors, design, and site teams.
Provide clear & concise readiness reports into the overall commissioning status view.
What We Are Looking ForStrong understanding of mission‑critical power and mechanical systems (UPS, switchgear, generators, PDUs/RPPs, chillers, CDUs, busway, skids), and how they behave in data centre environments.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across design, procurement, vendors, and field teams in a high‑pressure construction environment.
Experience integrating vendor testing (FAT/SAT) with commissioning programs, not just “receiving equipment.”
Comfort making go/no‑go decisions for tests based on technical readiness, not just schedule pressure, and backing them with facts.
Clear, direct communication style with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
5+ years in data centre, industrial, or mission‑critical projects in roles such as OFCI manager, commissioning engineer, MEP coordinator, or vendor technical support.
Experience with formal commissioning frameworks (L1–L5) and familiarity with large‑operator commissioning specs.
Ability to read and interpret single‑line diagrams, P&IDs, and controls/I/O lists.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical) or equivalent technical background.
Experience with project and Cx tools (Procore, CxAlloy, Facility Grid or similar).
