As we continue to grow, the role of the BOH Lead is pivotal in supporting efficient store operations and delivering the premium Nike experience our customers expect.
Are you Ready?
As a BOH (Back of House) Lead working for Retailors Sports Inc., the official operating partner of Nike in Canada, you will play a key role in leading back-of-house operations, maintaining strong inventory standards, and ensuring product is efficiently received, organized, and available to support the sales floor.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and support all Back of House operations, ensuring efficient and organized daily execution.
- Oversee product receiving, shipment processing, transfers, replenishment, and stockroom organization.
- Ensure products are accurately processed, stored, and readily available to support sales floor needs.
- Maintain BOH standards and ensure the stockroom is organized, clean, safe, and operationally efficient.
- Lead and coach the team on BOH procedures, inventory accuracy, and operational best practices.
- Coordinate and execute shipment load-ins efficiently and within required timelines.
- Partner closely with store leadership and the sales floor team to ensure timely and accurate product replenishment.
- Support inventory counts, cycle counts, product transfers, and other inventory control processes.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and help identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with Nike and Retailors operational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Support Loss Prevention initiatives and maintain proper product handling and security standards.
- Prioritize daily BOH workload and delegate tasks effectively to ensure operational goals are achieved.
- Support new product launches, seasonal transitions, and other store initiatives.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team environment.
What We Would Love to See:
- Minimum 1–2 years of retail, stockroom, inventory, or operations experience.
- Previous experience in a leadership or key-holder role is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory management, shipment processing, replenishment, and stockroom operations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to coach and support team members.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and operational standards.
- Comfortable with the physical requirements associated with receiving, moving, and organizing merchandise.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
