Position Overview
- As a National Account Manager at ZURU Toys, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding market presence in Canada.
- Reporting to the Country Manager, Canada, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with major retail partners, executing joint business plans (JBP), and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance.
- Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, a determined work ethic, and a proven ability to navigate complex account management.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams across marketing, supply chain, and global commercial groups to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Manage and grow national retail accounts, ensuring strong customer relationships and business alignment.
- Lead business reviews, analyze POS sales data, and optimize margin performance.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and promotional initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on product launches, inventory planning, and promotional execution.
- Present insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and retail partners.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in national account management, sales, or business development, preferably within consumer goods or retail industries.
- Experience managing major Canadian retail accounts
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret POS sales data and market trends.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Toys experience is a plus but not required—product knowledge and adaptability are key.
